Following this, the company gives special importance to those matters related to the environment, going further than what the European legislation obliges the company, in the legal and economic aspects. Covinil actively promotes the recycling of all the waste generated in all the manufacturing processes. Specifically, the following measures have been taken:

All scrap generated in the extrusion process is recycled in-house. If not usable for our own process it is sold to be used for other plastic articles which do not require such a high quality standards as the film does.

Covinil has done an important investment in a solvent recovery plant, where all the solvents used in the printing and lamination processes are recuperated. Covinil protects the environment recuperating these gasses which are transformed into solvents & used again in the printing process
Covinil periodically reviews its manufacturing processes with the objective of reducing & improving its environmental impact and the responsible use of the raw materials.
