COVINIL's installation is among the most modern and advanced in the market for manufaturing cast polypropylene film. Film thickness varies between 10 and 200 microns and can be coextruded up to 5 layers. This material can be metallised, rotogravure printed, mass coloured and laminated.

Thist installation is specifically prepared & adapted for extruding CPP twist-wrap applications. This film is widely used in the confectionery industry.

CAST POLYPROPYLENE CHARACTERISTICS:

• Excellent flatness and layer distribution.
• High transparency.
• Gloss.
• Excellent welding.
• Good hot-tack.
• Low density.
• It is not bioriented, so it is much more resistant to tearing and hole punching than bioriented polypropylene.
• No odour or taste.
• High barrier to oxygen, water vapour, light and ultraviolet rays.
• Absence of organic solvents.
